Yoga Therapy

What is Yoga Therapy
According to the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), Yoga Therapy is the process of employing yoga practices to help individuals improve their overall health and well-being. It involves using yoga techniques such as postures (Asana), breath control (Pranayama), meditation, sound, and relaxation to address specific physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges.
What Can You Expect:
Yoga therapy consists of one-on-one private sessions available in both in-person and virtual formats. Currently, all sessions are conducted in-office (unless virtual is preferred), except for asana (posture) practices, which are available online.
Yoga Therapy is more than a Posture Practice:
Each session may include yoga nidra, guided meditations, gentle postures, breathing exercises (pranayama), Ayurvedic tips, mindfulness practices, and journaling prompts. Rooted in ancient yoga philosophy, these sessions aim to help clients understand and address their unique challenges.
